PaleoWorking is a network of Italian laboratories operating in the research, spectacularisation and didacticism through the practice of primitive technologies. PaleoWorking organises courses and seminaries about lithic technologies (obsidian, Flint, and ground stone), courses for the reconstruction and the use of prehistoric weapons and tools (bows, spear thrower and axes), metal fusion, vitreous paste and clay working, cooking with prehistoric techniques.
These courses are addressed to adults, children, university students and also teachers who want to specialise in that field. We mostly organise open air courses in contact with nature so that raw materials are natural and it can be obtained where the laboratory is taking place or through research excursions planned expressly during the courses.
In the other branches in Italy actions are coordinated to enhance the territory on an archaeological, ethnographic point of view with projects addressed to cultural tourism, didacticism for schools and for private people.

The research::: Experimental archaeology is a branch of traditional archaeology that studies - through the experiments - the different steps of the creations and modifications of artefacts.
